Product Overview:
The GPON ONT Optical network unit GL-G8004U-Z, as a single-home unit (SFU), integrates powerful interoperability, specific needs of key customers, and low costs to deliver three-in-one services to users of FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) and FTTP (Fiber-to-the-Premises) applications.
The GL-G8004U-Z is equipped with a 2.5g rate downlink interface and 1.5g rate uplit interface in line with the ITU-T G.984 standard and is capable of providing a full range of three-in-one services, including voice, video (IPTV or VoD) and high-speed Internet access services.
The GL-G8004U-Z optical network unit provides a standard management channel defined by OMCI that enables remote management and supports the monitoring and maintenance functions of the full range of FCAPS.
The product application
Gl-g8004u-z is used as a terminal in EPON network through optical splitter. In the network topology of 64-channel optical link branches, the distance between the terminal and the local terminal is up to 20 kilometers. It can be used in homes, Internet cafes, small offices, or other places that require broadband access.
